Ancient Theater of Epidavros
The most majestic and best preserved ancient theater of the world, the theater of Epidaurus, situated in a canyon at Argolic peninsula, offers the ultimate theatre experience for visitors and spectators. Built in 340 BC, the Ancient Theater is famous for the superb acoustics due to its exemplary architecture and location. Every summer, since 1955, during the Athens and Epidaurus Festival, masterpieces of Greek ancient theater played by greek and foreign actors revive at this mythical place. We are excited to watch the production of "Orestes" of Euripides by Simos Kakalas – Choros Theatre Company.
The picturesque village of Epidaurus, has a small natural port, a lot of clean beaches and delicious food taverns. The area is famous for the orange tree plain and the small music concert theater. We are going to eat there after a great show at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus.

Created during the golden age of democracy and philosophy (5th century BC), reflects the heyday of human civilization. At the top of the rock there are four grandiose monuments: the Parthenon, the Propylaea, the Erechtheum, and the Temple of Athena Nike, while the Acropolis museum and the area of Plaka complete the enchanting picture.
